rSTOR C – the compact control centre for storing and distributing heat throughout the entire heating system: All connections are clearly labelled and quick and easy to install, eliminating the need for time-consuming wall mounting of pipes and subsequent insulation. All components are screwed directly onto the rSTOR C.
The rSTOR has energy efficiency class B insulation and its connections, including venting and draining, as well as all thermometers, are embedded in a closed casing so that precious heat cannot escape unhindered.
Good stratification in the buffer tank is essential to ensure that all components of the heating system can work together efficiently. Care must be taken to ensure that the different layers with different temperatures remain separate and do not mix with each other. Otherwise, the heat generators would have to start up again and again to ensure the required supply of hot water.
For this reason, the rSTOR C has three different zones, which are separated from each other by special baffles inside. The internal risers of the rSTOR C are also made of heat-insulated material to prevent unnecessary temperature short circuits.
The combination of heat pumps with wood-burning stoves and solar systems presents both a particular challenge and a great opportunity. It is a great opportunity because the wood-burning stove and the solar system can help relieve the heat pump of its most difficult task, namely hot water production when outside temperatures are cold. And it is a great challenge because the separation of different temperatures must work perfectly. When developing the rSTOR, it was made sure that the storage tank solves this task in the best possible way.
