Unocconi GmbH, based in Filderstadt, is responsible for the market launch and distribution in Germany of systems for decentralised shower water heat recovery that are already established in Europe. The shower drains and shower pipes with integrated heat exchangers are installed directly at the shower drain, where the integrated heat exchanger recovers up to 69% of the heat energy and uses it to preheat the incoming cold water. Unocconi systems comply with DIN 94678, have CE marking and are DVGW drinking water certified. They are eligible for BEG funding in new buildings and renovations or are tax-privileged under § 35c EstG.
