DIGITAL.SICHER.NRW – Competence centre for cyber security in the economy in North Rhine-Westphalia

DIGITAL.SICHER.NRW provides free support especially to small and medium-sized enterprises in North Rhine-Westphalia in particular to help them improve their digital security. Commissioned by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, the competence centre provides quick and easy access to practical information and resources.

The competence centre offers the following services:

Initial digital consultation: Personal consultations in which the current status of the company with regard to its digital security is analysed, weaknesses are identified and initial options for action are presented.

Webinars and training courses: Regular online events on technical and organisational security measures. Examples: passwords, antivirus software, software updates.

Presentations at events: Consultants share their expertise at industry events.

IT security compass: A guide with recommended measures on how to structure and gradually increase digital security in your own company.

Guides, publications, studies, information materials: e.g. flyers, brochures, articles on current topics such as ransomware, cyber insurance, facts and figures on digitalisation.

Newsletter & news updates: Regular updates on regulations, the threat situation, new funding opportunities, events, etc.
