Chris Adey pioneered this field, drawing on his experience as a former British Gas installer. With all his knowledge of the daily demands placed on central heating systems, plumbers and advances in heating technology, Chris invented the very first magnetic filter.

Innovation from the garden shed This paved the way for a change in best practice in the central heating industry, and ADEY has since pioneered a completely new technology in this sector – magnetic filtration. With the development of ADEY's first MagnaClean filter in 2003, a new industry standard was created that changed the maintenance of heating systems.
